Terms of Service
These terms apply to this website and to services provided by Nomadic Liberty LLC (“Nomadic Liberty,” “I,” or “me”) to you, the client. By hiring me or paying an invoice, you agree to them.

Proposals Come First
Most work starts with a written proposal. The proposal sets the scope, price, timeline, and any guarantee for that engagement. If a proposal or signed agreement says something different from these terms, the proposal or agreement controls.
Services
I provide AI consulting, automation, custom software, and related services, either as one-time projects or ongoing retainers. What is included is what the proposal or invoice describes. Work outside that scope can be added by agreement.
Invoices and Payment
Invoices are sent by email. You can pay online by card or bank transfer through Stripe, or by check. Payment is due by the date shown on the invoice. Retainers are billed for each period as described in the proposal.
Refunds and Guarantees
Refunds and any satisfaction guarantee are set out in the proposal for each engagement. If you are unhappy with the work or have a question about a charge, please contact me first so we can sort it out directly, before disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer.
Ending a Retainer
A retainer ends as described in its proposal. If the proposal does not say, either of us can end it with written notice (email is fine), and it ends at the close of the period already paid for.
Your Part
Good results depend on timely access to the people, information, and systems the work needs. You agree to provide accurate information and confirm you have the right to share any data or system access you give me.
AI and Third-Party Services
AI tools can make mistakes. Please review AI-generated output before relying on it for important decisions. Many solutions depend on third-party software and AI providers. Their availability, pricing, and terms are set by those providers and may change, and I am not responsible for their outages or changes.
Ownership
Unless your proposal says otherwise, I keep ownership of the software, code, and tools I build, including those built for your project. The code usually stays in my own accounts and hosting, and I may reuse parts of it in other projects. Your confidential information and data are never reused.
You may use what I build for you in your own business. Your data and content always remain yours. If you need full ownership or a copy of the code handed over to you, that can be arranged in the proposal.
Confidentiality
I keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to do your work. How personal information is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Limits of Liability
I do the work with care and skill, but except as stated in your proposal, services and this website are provided without other warranties. To the extent the law allows, Nomadic Liberty is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the services involved in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Changes to These Terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not affect invoices already issued.
